The club unveiled its official logo Saturday at Ottawa’s Berryman Pub during the halftime ceremonies of the UEFA Champions League final. It was one of three logos designed in conjunction with U.S.-based Downstream Design and Technology; the three logos were put unveiled to the public in April, and fans were invited to submit their choices and comments. But some minor tweaks were made to the design that was originally shown to the public. “The fan’s input has been invaluable and we responded to their comments,” said Ottawa Fury FC President John Pugh in a release issued by the club. “We are pleased with the logo as the centerpiece of our re-branding.” The club begins play in the NASL in 2014. Marc Dos Santos was named the club’s first head coach earlier this week.
