The Ottawa Fury FC will unveil its new logo at a local pub during the Champions League final.

But Miller’s harsh critique of his club wasn’t reflected in the NASL Player of the Week vote, as Canadian striker Michael Cox got the nod for his two-goal effort for the Eddies.

The Eddies are now just three points back of the NASL-leading Carolina RailHawks as they hit the midway mark of the NASL spring season with a 3-0 lead over the Silverbacks in front of 1,161 fans at Clarke Stadium.

But, Friday (even though, if you've been diligent in checking the TV listings, you know about this already) FC Edmonton and Rogers have announced a new broadcast partnership.

But it should feel like a Cup match. Not only will it be the first time the Eddies take the field at a new and improved Clarke Stadium, with capacity for 4,000 fans, but NASL is already entering a phase of the spring season schedule where every game is a must-win.

“Most of the guys weren’t here last year, but as one of the players who has been here, we go down 1-0 on the road and it would be easy to think ‘here we go again.’ But, by the second half, we were taking the game to them."

Of the four times the Whitecaps have beaten in FC Edmonton in Amway Canadian Championship action over the past two years, Wednesday’s win was the most comprehensive.

The Vancouver Whitecaps are happy with where they stand going into Wednesday’s second leg of the Canadian Championship semifinal against FC Edmonton, but know they must maintain readiness from the first whistle.
