Pinto, arguably FCE’s highest-profile signing since Dutch midfielder Ilja Van Leerdam was brought in last summer, hasn’t been able to train with the team since it left for training camp in Arizona nearly two weeks ago. Pinto, a former Chilean U-20 team forward who is on a one-year loan from Colo-Colo, does not yet have the paperwork needed to work in the United States.
