The NASL sides’s home broadcasts will be simulcast on TEAM 1260 throughout the remainder of the season. The Edmonton station will pick up the webcasts (shown live at fcedmonton.com), featuring Gareth Hampshire and Steven Sandor (myself). The agreement was confirmed late Tuesday. And there’s not much time to prepare — plans are to kick off the coverage with Wednesday’s home date against the Carolina RailHawks. FCE’s newest signing, an experienced Dutch midfielder, will be revealed at halftime of the match. The deal will greatly increase FC Edmonton’s reach and visibility in the market. It’s an exciting opportunity. Carolina faces Edmonton at 7:30 p.m. MT Wednesday at Foote Field.
