After being frozen out of the Ipswich Town lineup for almost all of the 2011-2012 season, Peters parted ways with the club by “mutual consent.” The club made the announcement on Thursday. Peters spent made just one appearance in an Ipswich Town shirt last season, a Carling Cup tie with Northampton. He was loaned out to Bournemouth after it became clear there was no first-team work for him with the Tractor Boys. Jaime Peters “Jaime is a terrific lad but it’s not really worked out for him here since I’ve been here,” ITFC manager Paul Jewell was quoted on the team’s official website. “We have a lot of options in the wide areas and he’s not had a look in at first-team level, so it’s best if he moves on because the lad needs to be playing football. “We wish him every success and I’m sure he will get fixed up with another club.”
