Despite being up a man for an hour, FC Edmonton couldn’t score — and, to make matters worse for the home team, the Eddies were caught at the back late in the game, as Luke Mulholland’s goal gave the Tampa Bay Rowdies a 1-0 win.

FC Edmonton couldn’t survive an early surge from the home team, and would later rue a series of missed opportunities, as the Eddies fell 1-0 to the Tampa Bay Rowdies Saturday night.

For anyone not cheering for the NSC Minnesota Stars to take the Soccer Bowl, it was an ugly spectacle.
