The fat lady hasn't sung yet but the Montreal Impact might be hearing someone practising scales backstage after dropping a 3-0 decision to the San Jose Earthquakes in CONCACAF Group 5 play in front of a sparse crowd at Buck Shaw Stadium.

In what was a ridiculous weekend of come-from-behind victories and last-gasp winning goals, there were several heroes to choose from when it comes to selecting the MLS Player of the Week.

The Goonies were good enough this afternoon. The San Jose Earthquakes erased a two-goal deficit to draw the visiting Montreal Impact in a 2-2 match played in close to 30 C heat at Buck Shaw Stadium.

“I kind of sneaked up and grabbed the ball,” Robson said following the match. “I’ve took penalties wherever I’ve been. I just wanted to take it and it was there for me, and I hope the boys don’t mind.”

Same scorelines, two radically different feelings. Saturday’s draw represented a decent result for TFC, securing its first road point of the season. Last week, a home draw against a poor Chivas side was a missed opportunity.
