Chilean forward Yashir Pinto and his agent were at FC Edmonton’s training session Tuesday at the Victoria Soccer Centre. By Wednesday, if he passes his medical, he’ll be ready for full training as the newest member of the club.

Chilean striker Yashir Pinto has landed in Edmonton. The former Chilean U-20 member will be on loan from South American powerhouse Colo-Colo to FC Edmonton.

On a day that former Chilean U-20 product and Colo-Colo prospect Yashir Pinto is expected to arrive on the FC Edmonton scene, Toronto FC announced the signing of veteran fullback Miguel Aceval.

Former Chilean U-20 forward and Colo-Colo product Yashir Pinto has confirmed through his Twitter account that “if all goes well,” he would join FC Edmonton as early as Monday.
